PRA’s Enforcement Teams Launch Monitoring, Visit 50 Departments for PST Payments

LAHORE– On the direction of Commissioner Enforcement Dr Javed Iqbal Sheikh and Additional Commissioner Misbah Nawaz Punjab Revenue Authority, the monitoring of 110 public sector departments has been scheduled for this week.

A senior official told Lahore Mirror that the Enforcement Officers of the Punjab Revenue Authority Lahore visited more then 50 departments and monitored the withholding/deduction and payments of Punjab Sales Tax on Service to be made by these departments in June.

During the monitoring activity, the PMU-Sports Board Punjab declared that Rs26 million will be deposited till 30th June.

Khadim-e-Punjab Ujaala program will deposit Rs25 million while Quaid-e-Azam Thermal Power private limited will deposit Rs38 Million till end of financial year.
