ISLAMABAD: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has introduced a new Pakistan-made, QR code-based national identity (ID) card, replacing the imported microchip with a secure QR code. According to a NADRA statement, the new identity card has been manufactured in Pakistan using polycarbonate material.
