University of Education Conducts 7th Convocation At Faisalabad Campus

FAISALABAD– As many 12,316 graduates including 5PhD and 631 MPhil students were awarded degrees at the 7th Convocation of University of Education held the other day at Faisalabad Campus.

As many 158 students were honored with gold, bronze and silver medals.

The convocation was presided over by the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Talat Naseer Pasha (Sitar e Imtiaz). The Vice Chancellor wholeheartedly congratulated the graduates, parents and teachers.

While addressing the audience on this auspicious occasion, the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Talat Naseer Pasha optimistically conveyed his hope, “the graduates will grow to be gifted scholars, business administrators, scientists, leaders, and nation-builders of our beloved homeland, Pakistan”.

He also uttered his admiration for academia as “they infuse the spirit of innovation, challenge, self-exploration and above all community welfare in their pupils”.

He said that “University of Education, Lahore has produced hundreds of thousands of skillful and proficient educationists and officers. UE has accomplished elevated standards of success through innovation, creativity and forward-looking strategies”.

“University of Education has a respectable place among the large public sector universities of Pakistan with a maximum number of sub-campuses, catering the educational needs of people all over the Punjab, with an estimated enrollment of 26,000 students, he added.I

n the end, the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Talat Naseer Pasha extended his gratitude to the guests for their gracious presence at UE Convocation 2020.
