KARACHI– An old lion of Karachi Zoo passed away at the age of 60 on Tuesday. According to details, an Asian tiger lion died of cardiac arrest at Karachi Zoo. The Wildlife Department seized two illegally brought tigers to Karachi in 2017 and kept them at the Karachi Zoo.
The tigers were nearing the end of their normal life. One of them died in January 2018. According to the spokesman of the Karachi Metropolitan Municipality, the presence of a large amount of fat in the arteries of the tiger caused a heart attack and due to which the tiger died.
