SNGPL Teams Detect Theft At Multiple Localities In Lahore, Disconnect Connections

LAHORE– The UFG task of the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited detected on Tuesday gas theft at different localities in the provincial capital. 

As per instructions of SNGPL general manager Lahore Shahzad Iqbal Lone and under the guidance of Regional Manager Imran Safdar Virk, the UFG task conducted successful raids at Momin Pura, Manawan Jallo Park, Burki Village and Central Park Ferozpur road and disconnected commercial setups of nuts, bolts, tandoors, chips, slanty and kurkure.

The consumers were stealing gas through domestic gas meter and using gas for commercial purposes at huge level.

The teams disconnected gas meters and forwarded applications for FIRs to the concern police stations.— PRESS RELEASE
