Public Service: Lahore Police Issue 2,357 Character, Verification Certificates During July

LAHORE– Lahore Police are providing welfare oriented services to citizens along with busting criminals from the society.

On the directions of DIG Operations Lahore Ashfaq Khan, citizens are being provided facilities of character and verification certificates. The Character Certificate branch of Lahore Police issued as many as 2,357 certificates to the citizens.

Accordingly, 1,628 character and 729 verification certificates were issued during month of July. As many as 434 applications were submitted by citizens at Khidmat Centre of DIG Operations office, 1027 at Facilitation Center of Gulberg, 403 at Iqbal Town, 209 at Greater Iqbal Park, 55 at Town Hall, 75 at Arfa Karim whereas 96 applications were submitted at recently inaugurated Facilitation Center of Bahria Town. Moreover 58 applications were submitted at Police Mobile Khidmat Markaz as well.

Lahore Police are providing these services at DIG Operations Lahore office, Facilitation Centers of Gulberg, Iqbal Town, Greater Iqbal Park, Town Hall, Arfa Karim, Bahria Town and also at Mobile Police Khidmat Center.

DIG Operations Lahore Ashfaq Khan, speaking on the occasion, said that citizens are provided 14 services including Police Character Certificate, Verification and registration of employees and tenants, renewal of driving license under One Roof at these Khidmat Centers.

These verification and Character certificates are issued to the overseas Pakistani citizens belonging to Lahore city and citizens for job purpose also.– PRESS RELEASE
