PCJCCI Sets Up Free Mask Distribution Stall at Cattle Market Harbanspura

LAHORE– The Pakistan China Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCJCCI) has collaborated with the government of Punjab to highlight the importance of SOPs in the rush of buyers and sellers at cattle markets for curbing spread of Covid-19 on occasion of Eidul Adha.

In this regard PCJCCI organized “Free Mask Distribution Stall” today at Lackodair Mandi, Harbanspura near Ring Road Lahore. Mr. Sardar Hasnain Bahadur Dreshek, Minister Livestock and Dairy Development inaugurated the PCJCCI stall as Chief Guest of the inaugural ceremony.

He also distributed free masks among the people, who were present in the market. While addressing the inaugural ceremony he acknowledged that Pakistan China Joint of Commerce and Industry has always been at the forefront when it comes to fight against any crisis.

“I would like to appreciate the efforts of PCJCCI for the awareness which they have given regarding the SOPs through free distribution of masks, he said and added that the provincial government was providing all possible facilities to people in cattle markets and also to the partner organizations like PCJCCI, who are collaborating with us to highlight significance of SOPs for controlling the spread of Corona virus in the Cattle markets.”

Mr. Moazzam Ghurki, Senior Vice President PCJCCI expressed deep gratitude to the Minister of Livestock and Dairy Development for making such great initiative of setting cattle markets outside the urban areas forcurbing spread of COVID-19 in Pakistan.

He also thanked the Minister for making such ample arrangements for buying the sacrificial animals on the festival of Eid ul Adha and to keep the people of Pakistan abreast with the critical situation as well as the precautionary measures under the prevailing pandemic.

Secretary General PCJCCI Mr. Salahuddin Hanif, addressing on this occasion, informed that the maskswere sent by China direct to PCJCCI in return of the solidarity measures taken by PCJCCI during peak time of Coronavirus disaster in China.— PRESS RELEASE
