    Dubai- The International Cricket Council (ICC) has declared Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav guilty and imposed a fine over controversial remarks during the presentation after the Pakistan-India match in the Asia Cup on 14th September.

    The ICC has declared the Indian captain guilty for controversial remarks during the presentation after the match against Pakistan.

    Sources say that the Indian captain appeared before the ICC referee yesterday upon Pakistan’s complaint, however today, ICC match referee Richie Richardson announced the decision, and Suryakumar was found guilty of making a political statement.

    According to sources, the ICC has imposed a 30% match fee fine on Indian cricket team captain Suryakumar Yadav.

    Sources say that ICC will soon issue detailed information regarding the decision against Suryakumar Yadav.

    What was the matter?
    On 14th September, after winning the group stage match in the Asia Cup, Indian captain Suryakumar, during the presentation, made a controversial statement while referring to the Pahalgam incident.

    After this, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) wrote a letter to the ICC against Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav, demanding action over the controversial and political statement.

    Yesterday, the International Cricket Council (ICC) also reprimanded Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav for attempting to become a hero through controversial and political statements after the India-Pakistan match in the Asia Cup.
