Lahore Police Host Farewell In the Honour of Outgoing DIG Ops Ashfaq Khan

LAHORE– Lahore police on Sunday hosted farewell ceremony in honour of outgoing DIG Operations Ashfaq Ahmad Khan on his transfer as Regional Police Officer Sargodha.
The farewell ceremony was attended among others by Capitol City Police Officer Lahore Ghulam Mahmood Dogar, Deputy Commissioner Lahore Muddasar Riaz Malik, DIG Investigation Shariq Jamal, DIG Security Hassan Raza Khan, incoming DIG Operations Lahore Sajid Kayani, SSP Discipline Amin, Bukhari, CTO Lahore Syed Hammad Abid, SP Headquarters, SP Dolphin Squad all divisional SPs of Operations and Investigation Wing, ASPs, SDPOs and related police officers.
DIG Investigation, DIG Securiry, SPs and other police expressed their feelings regarding the experience, decision making power, professional attitude and guidance of Ashfaq Ahmad Khan in performance of their duties. They appreciated the stability and anticipation of the outgoing officer.
They hoped incoming DIG Operations Lahore Sajid Kayani will continue with the legacy of outgoing DIG Operations Ashfaq Khan.
CCPO Lahore Ghulam Mahmood Dogar commended the valuable services of Ashfaq Ahmad Khan as DIG Operations Lahore and said that services of DIG Ashfaq Ahmad Khan to maintain law and order in the mega city of over 13 million population, eradication of crimes, enforcement of law, community engagement and to make Lahore police a distinctive force would be remembered forever as in his most professional leadership, Lahore police performed up to the mark as he served in Provincial Capitol twice with full dedication and commitment.
CCPO Lahore Ghulam Mahmood Dogar said he found Ashfaq Khan best intended person and reformative .He welcomed the newly posted DIG Lahore Sajid Kayani and hoped that under his command Operations Wing will further improve its performance to provide security of life anf property to the citizens and maintain law and order in the city.
Ghulam Mahmood Dogar and other police officers also gave away souvenirs to the outgoing officer as token of acknowledgement for his splendid services for Lahore Police. Outgoing DIG Ashfaq Ahmad Khan expressed his gratitude for the honor and ceremony appreciated the leadership qualities of Lahore police heads particularly CCPO Lahore Ghulam Mahmood Dogar and hoped that Lahore police will become model police under his guidance.
Outgoing DIG Ashfaq Ahmad Khan further said all the officers and officials of Lahore Police are like his family who extended their full support during his posting and he has always tried his best for the welfare and development of the police force.
Ashfaq Khan said that although transferred, he will remain connected with Lahore Police in the future also because transfer posting is part of service and being a police officers we should always be prepared for it.— PRESS RELEASE
