“Khidmat Aap Ki Dahleez Per”: Commissioner Lhr Orders DCs to Make 3-week Program Successful

LAHORE– Commissioner Lahore Division, Captain (retired) Muhammad Usman Wednesday directed all DC’s of Lahore Division to put all energies to make successful “Khidmat Aap Ki Dahleez Per” (Civic service at your doorstep), a three weeks program initiated by the government of Punjab which would be started from tomorrow.

He said that cleanliness and removal of garbage, repair of street lights were the targets of 1st week during the 3 weeks program.

He said cleanliness was top most priority and compliance must be hundred percent. He instructed to deploy whole machinery and human resource for the week-objective.

He said districts would be ranked on the basis of three weeks program of cleanliness 1st week, removal of water, drains & sewerage clearance 2nd week and cleanliness of Govt premises 3rd week. He said citizens, complaint resolution was utmost important.

Citizens could download “Khidemt Aap ki Dehleez per” app to give feedback and register complaints, he also maintained.

He said clean environs was the right of every citizen and administration was bound to use all resources to clean all cities and towns.

Usman directed that every AC would supervise all activities personally and regularly. He informed DC’s that he would pay surprise visits in day and night time to see the program and cleanliness operations at night.

He said cities would be cleaned before 7am and all garbage containers must be emptied at night time before sun rising.

The commissioner made that clear that citizens, feedback would be his priority while analyzing the status of performance because Government is striving hard to provide services to every citizen and sector, in easy and prompt way.— PRESS RELEASE
