LAHORE– Commissioner Lahore division Asif Bilal Lodhi Monday said all temporary sacrificial animal markets for Eid-ul-Azha would be established to fully operational till August 2.
He said seven sale points including Shahpur Kanjran Cattle Market had to be established in different areas around Lahore.
Lodhi paid visits to different temporarily established sacrificial animal sale markets in different areas of Lahore to check the ongoing arrangements.
He directed to make sufficient arrangements of drinking water for animals and all markets would be lit properly.
The Commissioner directed to provide security for markets to avoid any unlawful activity.
He said that livestock department was being medical camp for anti-tick sprays and treatment of animals in all sale points.
During his visit to Manawan Ring Road Sale Point and DHA Phase 9 sale point, he directed to get the main track of the market leveled by tiles.— PRESS RELEASE
