LAHORE– A five-member Japanese delegation headed by Vice-President of Clean Energy Company Mr Fokaya Satoru called on Speaker Punjab Assembly Ch Parvez Elahi at the Assembly Chambers on Tuesday and exchanged views on matters of mutual interest.
During the meeting, discussion was also held about installation of solar energy system in the new building of the Punjab Assembly.
The Speaker also apprised the guests about the structure, parliamentary traditions and Rules of Procedure of the Assembly.
Ch Parvez Elahi said that Japan has always endeavoured for betterment of Pakistan.
Mr Fokaya Satoru said that we value the sentiments of love and sincerity of the people of Pakistan for Japan.
During the meeting President of Cheema Enterprises Company Limited Japan Nawaz Cheema, Secretary Punjab Assembly Muhammad Khan Bhatti, Secretary Coordination Rai Muutaz Hussain Babar and Director General Parliamentary Affairs Inayatullah Lak were also present.
Afterwards the Japanese delegation also visited Punjab Assembly new building.— PRESS RELEASE
