LAHORE MIRROR — A woman gave birth to a baby girl inside an ambulance of Rescue 1122 while being shifted to the district headquarters hospital Chakwal here on Wednesday.
According to Rescue 1122, Amjad Khan was shifting her wife to DHQ Chakwal on a carry van from his Karsal village and his van struck in traffic due to heavy rain. He alerted Rescue 1122 for Help, they immediately dispatched an ambulance along with two female paramedics.
The Rescue 1122 staff pulled vehicle out of water and brought it to a safe place. As it was not possible to carrying the patient due to heavy flow of rain water in-front of rescue station.
The vehicle was parked on the roadside and the woman gave birth to a baby girl under the care of the Rescue 1122 female staff, he said. The official said both the newborn and the mother had been admitted to the DHQ hospital, where they were in good health.
