Two Hajj Flights Carrying 474 Pilgrims Land in Karachi, Faisalabad

LAHORE MIRROR — The first post Hajj Flight No. PK-832 carrying around 361 Hujjaj from Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, reached Jinnah International Airport –Karachi on Sunday.

The Sindh Governor Mohammed Kamran Khan Tessori welcomed the Hujjaj and put garlands on them upon their arrival. The first post Hajj flight arrived in the city at around 3:35pm.

According to a PIA Spokesman, around 268 flights will bring 61,467 Hujjaj back to the country and the post Hajj flight operation will continue until August 02.

First hajj flight (PK-1340) carrying 113 pilgrims has landed at Faisalabad International Airport here on Sunday night.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ali Anan Qamar flanked by Director Hajj Lahore Iqrar Ahmad received the pilgrims warmly by decorating them with flower garlands.

Speaking on the occasion, the DC said that post hajj operation had started and it would continue up to July 31, 2023. About 3,500 pilgrims would land at Faisalabad Airport through 22 hajj flights and all necessary arrangements were completed to facilitate the pilgrims at Faisalabad, he added.
