Sindh Minister Says Public Transport to Be Allowed To Operate Only After Lockdown Ends

KARACHI- The Sindh government is soon going to announce a relief package for the public transporters, said the transporter Minister said.

“We won’t leave them alone as a good package will be announced for them soon.”

The minister clarified that public transport couldn’t be allowed until the lockdown. The nation coordination committee will make the decision on lifting the lockdown and after that we see how to bring life back to normal
Shah said:

The government always makes such promises, but it rarely follows through, said a representative of the motorcycle and rickshaw association and added the government has once again announced big package for transporters.

Another member of the association said they are giving the government two days to meet and solve their problems.

If nothing is done, all transporters and their families would protest outside of Chief Minister’s House, he warned. “We want some concrete action,” the association’s office-bearer made it clear.
