Punjab Health Minister Leads Anti-Dengue Awareness Seminar Cum Walk

LAHORE MIRROR (By Our Web Correspondence)– Provincial Minister for Health Punjab Khawaja Salman Rafique on Sunday led an awareness seminar followed by a walk to raise awareness in connection with Anti-Dengue Day to tackle the outbreak of dengue virus corona in the city.

It is very important to inform the people of Punjab about dengue. Today is the day to educate the people about the prevention of dengue and coronary heart disease. We have to convey this message of goodness from house to house. We can control dengue and corona by taking precautionary measures.

 

He expressed these views while addressing an awareness seminar at PCSI society phase-II on the occasion of Anti-Dengue Day as Special Guest. Secretary Cooperative Department, Special Secretary Primary and Secondary Health Care Department Saleha Saeed, Director CDC Dr. Shahid Hussain Magsi, and PCSIR Society officials were present on the occasion.

Addressing the seminar, he congratulated the management for organizing a very beautiful awareness seminar. Over the years, dengue has swallowed many of our precious human lives. All departments of Punjab are working hard to control dengue. There is a rare opportunity to serve the people in the health department. 11,000 teams of the health department are performing duties in Punjab to vaccinate the people, he said.
