LAHORE– The Punjab government has appointed Executive Director Lahore Arts Council Saman Rai as Director General Public Relations (DGPR).
Ms Rai is going to replace Dr Aslam Dogar who has been appointed Executive Director LAC. Mr Dogar is going to retire in a couple of months.
Rai is also holding additional charge of the Additional Secretary Information and Culture Punjab. Earlier she had worked as the Executive Director of the Punjab Arts Council and the Director-General of PLAC.
The woman officer spent around six months in LAC and worked hard to reactivate cultural and art activities even in peak days of coornavirus.
