PU To Continue Online Classes During Vacations

LAHORE- The Punjab University administration has decided to continue online classes during the vacations in order to engage students in positive activities. In this regard, PU Vice Chancellor Prof Niaz Ahmad chaired a meeting of deans here on Monday.

The meeting discussed that the whole world was facing the crisis of COVID-19 and the time to fight the disease is unknown. The meeting discussed that since many things were uncertain and a large number of students had also requested to continue online classes as it was better for them to study rather than wasting their time at home under the prevailing situation, it would be in their interest to continue online classes in order to avoid wastage of academic year, which would also create problems for them to get jobs.

The meeting also decided that decision regarding exams and assessment of the students would be taken later according to the circumstances at that time. The meeting decided that assignments could be given to the students however practical sessions with relevant module would be conducted later.–PRESS RELEASE
