President Asif Ali Zardari traveled from Chengdu to Mianyang in a high-speed train equipped with an earthquake warning system. The President was briefed about the train’s operation, service, and safety systems.
President Zardari declared the pollution-free electric train and the earthquake warning system a marvel of engineering.
On this occasion, the President stated that China’s innovation is a lesson for Pakistan and other countries.
Pakistan’s Ambassador Khalil Hashmi, Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong, and Senator Saleem Mandviwala also accompanied the President. Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong remained with the President throughout the visit.

As Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, the President arrived at the complex. He toured the entire facility where the J-10C aircraft is manufactured. The J-10C played a pivotal role in the Battle of Truth.
President Asif Ali Zardari met with engineers and scientists. On this occasion, the President was briefed on J-10, JF-17, and J-20 stealth fighters. He was also informed about drones, autonomous units, and multi-domain operations.
The President stated that the J-10 and JF-17 have strengthened the Pakistan Air Force. The performance of these aircraft was notable in the Battle of
Truth and Operation Banyan-ul-Marsous in May 2025.
The President termed the AVIC complex a symbol of China’s technology and the Pakistan-China strategic partnership.
