LAHORE MIRROR — Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Barrister Gohar has said the party has challenged the proclamation of emergency and Governor’s Rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the Peshawar High Court (PHC).
“A democratic government has been shown the door under the pretence of the emergency and governor’s rule in the province, but we hope the High Court will revive it [democracy],” he said in a statement.
The PTI office-bearer urged the court to hear the party’s plea as soon as possible. vowing to continue the constitutional and legal struggle.
