LAHORE MIRROR — Senior Pakistani film actor Mommar Rana had reportedly made an emotional statement about his married life, revealing that his wife and children are no longer living with him.
The actor said he had signed legal documents relating to a divorce but continued to pray that his marriage would not come to an end.
The actor is reportedly going through a particularly difficult phase in his life, facing professional challenges and personal difficulties, while his family life also appears to be in turmoil.
Speaking during a recent interview, Rana said that although his brothers had stood by him during this challenging period, his wife and children were no longer with him.
In an emotional account, the actor said he still loved his wife and children. He disclosed that he had signed the legal documents concerning the divorce but expressed hope that his marriage could still be saved.
Rana is among the recognised names in Pakistan’s film industry. Over the course of his career, he has appeared in numerous films and remained a prominent figure in Pakistani cinema for several years. He has also worked in Punjabi theatre.
The actor married Mehnaz Parvez in 1998. The couple have been married for nearly three decades and have two daughters.
