LAHORE MIRROR – The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has rescheduled the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) 2023 to be held on September 10. This test is a prerequisite for admission to medical colleges.
As per the recent notification released on Tuesday, the test, initially slated for August 27, has been moved to September 10.
It reveals that ” it is to inform all MDCAT aspirants that as per directions of the Federal Secretary, Ministry of Health Services Regulations and Coordination, Islamabad that the Federal Government has decided to extend and rescheduled the MDCAT examination to a new date i.e 10 September 2023 (Sunday)”.
This adjustment aims to grant aspiring medical students more time for thorough preparation.
The decision was taken to accommodate candidates needing extra time for last-minute studying and revisions.
The announcement of the revised date was made by the organizing authorities of the medical college entry test, ensuring all registered candidates are well-informed about the change.
This modification is anticipated to relieve the time constraints faced by applicants, allowing them to approach the crucial examination with heightened confidence and readiness
