LAHORE MIRROR- The Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, announced on Thursday evening the dissolution of the National Assembly dissolution on August 09.
According to details, Prime Minister hosted a dinner in honor of the allies in which the country’s political situation and upcoming general elections were discussed.
It has been reported that Shehbaz Sharif in the meeting, gave the date of August 09 to the allies to dissolve the National Assembly.
It is further said that the premier while talking to the coalition leaders said that he will send the summary of the dissolution of the National Assembly to President Dr. Arif Alvi on August 09.
Prime Minister said that there will be a consultation for the name of the caretaker Prime Minister from today (Friday) which will be concluded in the next two to three days.
It should be noted that the term of the current National Assembly is ending on August 12 at 12:00am.
A few days earlier, Federal Minister for Water Resources Khurshid Shah also said in a statement that the summary of the dissolution of National and Provincial Assemblies will be sent to President on August 09.
