Peshawar Charsi Tikka’s Owner Arrested For Kissing a Foreign Tourist

LAHORE MIRROR — Nisar Khan, also known as ‘Charsi,’ who owns the popular Charsi Tikka restaurant in Peshawar’s Namakmandi area, has been arrested on allegations of inappropriate behavior towards foreign tourists.

The incident came to public attention after images related to the alleged misconduct circulated widely on social media, causing widespread outrage.

According to sources, as soon as the troubling images were discovered, the Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) issued immediate orders for legal action. Subsequently, Nisar Khan was charged under section 294 of the Pakistan Penal Code in Peshawar. The charges relate to accusations of indecent conduct towards foreign tourists staying at a local hotel.

This is not the first time Nisar Khan has faced allegations of misconduct towards tourists, particularly those from abroad. Previous discussions on social media have revolved around his non-consensual actions.

In response to the incident, public anger has been evident on various social media platforms. Many Facebook users expressed their outrage, with some tagging the Capital City Police Officer to demand justice.

One comment lamented that such behavior cast a shadow on the reputation of Peshawar’s people, while another commended authorities for taking action and detaining Nisar Khan.
