LAHORE MIRROR — Pakistan’s Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar has introduced a streamlined visa system aimed at attracting foreign businessmen to the country.

Under this new system, foreign entrepreneurs can obtain visas with just one essential document from their home country or international business organizations. Additionally, if a foreign businessman receives support from Pakistan’s business chambers or organizations, they can also access an expedited visa process.

Prime Minister Kakar is optimistic that this simplified visa regime will play a pivotal role in fostering business growth and boosting the nation’s economy. The government is diligently working to create a more investor-friendly environment, a commitment reiterated by Caretaker Foreign Minister Jilani. Furthermore, Pakistan is actively strengthening its international relations across various domains, including defense, politics, and economics.

One notable initiative on the horizon is the establishment of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), seen as a significant stride forward in facilitating foreign investment. Pakistan is also eyeing enhanced trade partnerships with key global players, including the United States, the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), the European Union (EU), and African nations. These efforts reflect Pakistan’s dedication to fostering economic growth and fostering international cooperation in an increasingly interconnected world.
