OPC VC Waseem Highlights Importance of Overseas Pakistanis in Burewala Seminar
BUREWALA– Vice Chairperson Overseas Pakistanis Commission Ch Waseem Akhtar addressed a seminar held for the Overseas Pakistanis in Burewala district Vehari on Monday.
The seminar was hosted by business community of district Vehari attended by many politicians like Aurangzeb Khichi (MNA), Jahanzeb Khichi (Provincial Minister for Transport), Tahir Iqbal (MNA), NazeerJutt (Former MNA), Malik Nadeem Bara (MPA), Ch. Ijaz (MPA), Muhammad Naeem (MPA), political workers and a large number of Overseas Pakistanis belonging from Vehari.
Chaudhry Waseem Akhtar while addressing the gathering said: Overseas Pakistanis are an asset as they send $22 billion dollars in the form of foreign exchange every year back home and strengthen the economy of this country.
“We shall leave no stone unturned in resolving their complaints and issues faced by them in Pakistan.”
The Vice Chairperson OPC briefed the audience regarding Overseas Pakistanis Commission and how Pakistani expatriates can lodge their complaint. Pakistanis living in any corner of the world can lodge their complaint online through OPC web portal.
“The hardworking team of OPC then follows up the case through proper channel. The whole mechanism is supervised by me and Commissioner OPC Syed Javed Iqbal Bokhari.”
OPC is working round the clock to give relief to the Overseas Pakistanis as per the vision of Prime Minister Pakistan Imran Khan, he said.— PRESS HANDOUT
