Gujranwala Police Asked to Take Action Against Workshop Owner Who Tortured Teenaged Employee

LAHORE– Provincial Minister for Human Rights and Minority Affairs, Ejaz Alam Augustine took immediate notice of the news of the inhumane treatment of a minor employee by the owner of a workshop in Gujranwala.

According to the details, it was brought to the notice of the provincial minister that Ustad Zahid, the owner of the Sher Rabbani Workshop Spare Parts Workshop within the limits of Gujranwala police station Khayali, accused 14-year-old employee Muhammad Bilal of theft and brutally tortured him.

He was targeted and an appeal was made to the provincial minister that the accused was an influential person, so he was not being heard and his life was in danger.

The provincial minister directed the CPO to arrest the accused and send a detailed report of the incident after a transparent investigation into the matter while providing immediate medical aid to the minor employee and protection to the affected family.

The provincial minister has assured the family of Muhammad Bilal that all the requirements of justice will be met and the accused will be punished.
