Fame Football Club Clinches Title by Beating Santos 2-0

LAHORE MIRROR (Sports Reporter) — Under the auspices of Fame Football Club, the Fame Essa Khan Memorial Floodlit Tournament witnessed a defensive triumph as Fame FC emerged victorious. The club’s striker, Abdul Kalam Kamee, was recognized as the standout player in the final and the Qadir Khan Tournament.

The winning team’s coach excelled in obtaining the accolade for the best coach at the event. The final, held in Model Town, Lahore, saw both teams launching multiple attacks on each other’s goalposts in the first half, but none resulted in success.

In the second half of the match, Fame Football Club, employing an assertive approach, secured a lead with goals from Abdul Kalam Kamee and Muhammad Abbas, giving them a two-goal advantage over Santos Lahore Football Club, which they maintained until the stipulated time.

As a result, Fame Football Club clinched the title in a splendid fashion for the fourth time. In the final, Fame’s robust defensive line denied Santos’ striker the opportunity to score, and the match concluded with Fame Football Club winning 2-0.

At the conclusion of the match, President of Fame Football Club and organizer Zia Arif Dogar, along with esteemed guest Engineer Nazeer Ahmed, awarded Fame Club, the winners of the final, with a cash prize of one lakh rupees. The runner-up team, Santos, received an award of 70 thousand rupees along with a beautiful trophy.

Cash prizes and souvenirs were also distributed among the outstanding players of the match and the tournament. Zia Dogar expressed gratitude to the players, coaches, organizers, referees, and ground staff for their efforts in making the event successful.
