FAISALABAD– Faisalabad police managed to retrieve 2,650 acres of state land from grabbers in Jaranwala during five-day operation on Wednesday.
Police helped the district administration in the biggest operation in the history of Faisalabad in retrieving more than 2,600 acres of land worth Rs16 billion from grabbers in Chak 534 RB Jaranwala.
According to City Police Officer Captain (retired) Muhammad Sohail Ch, the operation was completed despite tough resistance as police stayed firm and managed this landmark achievement.
DIG Sohail Ch and Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali had earlier visited the place and supervised the entire process on May 12.
