District Admn Lahore Disburses Rs393 Million Under Ehsaaf Kifalat

LAHORE– The District Administration Lahore has been ensuring quick disbursement of cash under Ehsaas Kifalat to the registered beneficiaries and it has disbursed Rs392.9 million among 31,850 beneficiaries in the last four days.
The process continued on fifth day as well on 110 cash counters of 31 centers, which had been established in diverse parts of the provincial capital.
Danish Afzal says the process of cash disbursement is not slow and it will not take two to three months as presumed by some quarters because 50 per cent beneficiaries had been accommodated up till now.
“All precautionary measures including provision of sanitisers, hand washers, social distancing and screening of each beneficiary coming to center, have been taken by the District Administration. Similarly, old beneficiaries are being treated very carefully with due respect and water and juice is being provided to beneficiary on demand” he added
Danish Afzal further stated that as many as 59,000 beneficiaries would be given cash under Ehsaas Kifalat Program. Moreover,  second phase of cash disbursement to 8,171 message receivers has also been commenced in all 31 centers of Lahore where separate arrangements both for male and female have been carried out by district administration Lahore.
