LAHORE MIRROR– Newly-appointed DIG Operations Lahore Captain (retired) Muhammad Sohail Ch listened to the welfare-oriented issues of his force on Saturday and issued orders to provide immediate relief.
He disposed of all pending applications for welfare/loan and/or medical related cases which had been pending for more than six months.
As many 54 applicants including of ranks ranging from Naib Qasid and upward were called and Rs1.7 million were disbursed amongst them as expenditure incurred on their health and welfare.
It was also announced in entire Lahore that any member of the police force could walk into the DIG Ops office for any kind of welfare related matter without prior appointment.
The DIG says regular interaction with the force and listening to their grievances and problems is the basic essence of police command.
