Covid-19 Vaccination Awareness: 1,400 Internees Participate in Training Session

LAHORE– Under the initiative of the Commissioner Lahore for Covid vaccination awareness–Lahore Gets Vaccinated, a training session of more than 1,400 internees from different universities of Lahore has been kicked off in Alhamra.

Commissioner Lahore Captain (retired) Muhammad Usman, Secretary P&S Health Punjab Imran Sikander Baloch, and DC Lahore Umer Sher Chatha graced the training program and opened the training Session.

It was briefed in training sessions that all universities of Lahore had got registered and sent their students for Commissioner Lahore internship program for Covid Vaccination awareness.

The Commissioner Lahore said that after completion of Covid training session, all internees would send to their nearby areas with their university supervisors and Health officials.

He said total period of Commissioner internship program is 6 weeks and 1st week is of training. He said that today was the historical day for Lahore because they were going to start the biggest awareness program of Pakistan and even of no example.

Secretary P&S Health Punjab, Imran Sikander Baloch said that awareness campaign regarding Covid Vaccination was the need of hour and he patted the sentiments of internees.

Commissioner Lahore said that mask wearing was mandatory for both vaccinated and unvaccinated persons.

He said all internees would knock every door for vaccination awareness and collect data for more research analysis.— HANDOUT
