LAHORE MIRROR – The Sindh Bar Council has filed a petition challenging the Army Act and the Official Secrets Act in the Supreme Court.

In response to President Arif Alvi’s refusal to sign both the Army Act and the Official Secrets Act, the Sindh Bar Council has taken legal action by challenging the validity of these laws in the Supreme Court.

The petition argues that since both acts were not signed by the President, they should be declared unconstitutional. Furthermore, it asserts that the Official Secrets Act and the Army Amendment Act violate fundamental human rights.
