Anti-Corruption Establishment Punjab Releases September’s Performance Report
-- The ACE recovers amount near to Rs7 billion
LAHORE– The Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) Punjab has issued performance report of month of September.
According to the report, the ACE has made historic recovery of Rs6 billion and 90 crore in the month of September.
Out of the recovered amount, Rs4 crore and 25 lakhs are direct recovery, Rs6 billion and 84 crore rupees have been recovered under the head of land recovery whereas Rs83 lakhs and 30 thousands have been recovered under the head of indirect recovery.
According to report Anti-Corruption Establishment Punjab received 1652 complaints in the month of September and it redressed 1667 grievances including previous complaints.
Similarly, Anti-Corruption Punjab holds 428 inquiries, gave decision of 491 ongoing inquiries, 121 cases were registered, decision was given on 141 ongoing cases, 58 challans were presented, 24 raids were conducted and 154 accused were arrested.
Anti-Corruption Punjab has also nabbed 9 court absconders and 42 proclaimed offenders in the month of September.
Director General Anti-Corruption Establishment Muhammad Gohar Nafees has directed all the officers to adopt zero tolerance policy against the corrupt elements and take action against them without any discrimination.— PRESS HANDOUT
