KARACHI– Pakistan International Airlines Thursday suspended its Kabul flights operations till further notice.
The decision was taken in view of changed dynamics and non-conducive conditions supporting international flight operations.
He said that the decision to keep flying into Kabul even after the changed in regime was taken on purely humanitarian grounds, and on strong insistence of some friendly organizations. PIA was operating charter flights to Kabul. He said that the insurance cost of these flights is very high and the fares cannot be reduced.
Therefore the airline is temporarily suspending its flight operations to Kabul. PIA spokesman concluded.— PRESS RELEASE
