LAHORE MIRROR — The post-mortem report of Hina Javed, who her husband allegedly killed in Rawalpindi, has been released.
The post-mortem examination was conducted by Dr Maria Khalid 12 hours after Javed’s death.
The report said the initial examination could not conclusively establish the cause of death. Samples collected from the body have been sent to a forensic laboratory to determine the exact cause.
The report stated that the 45-year-old Hina Javed had a fractured neck bone, while injuries were found on her ribs and hip. It also noted that the pericardium surrounding her heart was filled with blood.
Meanwhile, the preliminary report provided to the doctor by police said Javed had allegedly been hanged by Hina Javed’s husband.
A murder case has been registered at the Civil Lines Police Station on the complaint of the victim’s brother.
Police have arrested the victim’s husband and a domestic worker in connection with the case and obtained three-day physical remand of both suspects.
