PRA Receives Commitments of PST Collection from XEN(RM), SZH, PSCA and WASA

LAHORE– In order to evaluate collection from the public sector withholding agents, a team of Enforcement Officers of the Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) Lahore has been framed by Additional Commissioner Ms Misbah Nawaz on the directions of Commissioner Enforcement Dr Javed Iqbal Sheikh.

Officials told Lahore Mirror that the team visited more 50 government departments and collected information about the Punjab Sales Tax on Services deducted and to be deposited by these departments during the month of June, 2021.

During the monitoring activity, XEN R&M (GOR) informed that PST of Rs30 million will be deposited till end of current financial year.

Sheikh Zayed Hospital reported Rs2.8 million that it will be deposited in the coming week. The Workers Welfare Fund (WWF) presented Rs3.8 million cheque to the PRA team.

The Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA)and the Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) also committed to deposit respectively Rs3 million and 3.5 million respectively of withheld PST for the month of June.
