KARACHI– As per the orders issued with the approval of Administrator Karachi and signed by the senior Director HRM, Athar Iqbal, a Grade-18 officer of Karachi Metropolitan Municipality has been appointed as Director Urdu Enforcement Department.
He was earlier working as a director in the City Institute of Image Management (CIIM).
Athar Iqbal is a well-known figure in academic and literary circles. His books on various topics have been published. This book is also read in different schools.
Athar Iqbal’s other well-known books include A Proverb, a Story, Traveler of Haram, Radio Sketches, Swat Sawad, Lake. Including Saif al-Muluk and others.
