17 Shops Set Up In Water Board Office Demolished And Seals

KARACHI–Administrator Karachi Laiq Ahmed has directed the State Department to submit a complete report of the shops constructed in Liaquatabad Supermarket apart from the original plan and their allotment so that those responsible for the shops constructed at the corridor and other places. He said that strict action should be taken against the officer who was found involved in setting up encroachments in the markets of KMC and strict action would be taken against him. On the occasion of a visit to Abad Supermarket where State Department officials were also present, it was informed that there are more than 770 shops in the supermarket while 17 shops set up in the Water Board office have been demolished and sealed. Illegal constructions on the first-floor roof have also been demolished. Administrator Karachi said that the supermarket should be restored as per its original plan.
