SAHIWAL– Deputy Inspector General of Police Tariq Abbas Qureshi assumed the charge of Regional Police Officer (RPO) Sahiwal region on Friday.
He was given salutation by a smartly-turned police guard upon his arrival at his office.
Mr Qureshi has previously served Gujranwala as RPO. He also served several districts including Sahiwal as District Police Officer (DPO).
The RPO held a meeting with his DPOs and subordinates and issued necessary directives.
