LAHORE MIRROR — The Syndicate of the University of Education has approved the annual budget worth Rs4,308.109 million for the fiscal year 2023–24 and also regularized 106 contract employees, said the press release issued here on Wednesday.
The syndicate convened its 71st meeting held at its main Campus, Township, Lahore here on Wednesday. A press release revealed that Out of the total budget, Rs. 564.83 million have been allocated for the development budget and Rs. 3743.277 million for the non-development budget.
Notably, the Syndicate also took a significant step by regularizing 106 contract employees who had diligently served the institution for the past three years, adhering to the University of Education Employees (Regularization of Services) Statutes 2022.
The Syndicate granted approval for the recruitment of six professors, six associate professors, and other teaching staff members at the university.
