There Are Vast Investment Opportunities In Sindh For Niger Investors: Dharejo

KARACHI– Provincial Minister for Industries & Commerce and Anti-Corruption & Cooperative Department Jam Ikramullah Dharejo has said that there are vast investment opportunities for Nigerian investors in Sindh and Sindh government will provide them with better infrastructure and their capital will be given complete protection.

He made the remarks during a meeting with a delegation led by the Nigerian Minister of Industries & Commerce Gado Sabo Moctar at his office here today. The delegation also included Niger Minister for Investment Zikri Vargo Boubacar, and other Niger businessmen, Pakistani Ambassador to Niger Ahmed Ali Sirohey and Shahbaz Akram vice president FPCCI and others.

Provincial Minister Jam Ikramullah Dharejo assured the delegation members that there are vast investment opportunities in Sindh. Pakistan is an agricultural country. There are many opportunities for agro best industries in Sindh. He added that the Sindh government would provide full protection to Nigerian investors while investing. Sindh is also ready to provide technical assistance to them.

Jam Ikramullah Dharejo said that Hyderabad is a hub of motorcycle manufacturing and there is a need to further improve the brotherly, trade, and cultural ties between the two countries.

On the occasion, Niger’s Minister Industries and Commerce Gado Sabo Moctar said that Niger would also provide better facilities to Pakistani investors and relations between the two countries were expected to improve further after the appointment of Pakistan’s ambassador to Niger. On this occasion, the two ministers called for enhancing relations between Pakistan and Niger.

Jam Ikramullah Dharejo expressed hope that the exchange of delegations would improve relations between the two Islamic countries and boost trade. Provincial Minister Jam Ikramullah Dharejo informed the delegation that a special economic zone has been set up in Sindh to attract foreign investors where all possible facilities have been provided.

On the occasion, Provincial Minister for Industries & Commerce and Anti-Corruption & Cooperative Department Jam Ikramullah Dharejo presented the traditional gift of Sindh Ajrak to the members of the delegation. The members of the delegation thanked Provincial Minister Jam Ikramullah Dharejo for the warm welcome and for providing information on investment opportunities in Sindh.
