LAHORE MIRROR — Four soldiers of the Pakistan Army were martyred, and five others sustained critical injuries in an attack on the Zhob garrison in northern Balochistan, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The militants attempted to infiltrate the facility but were met with resistance from the soldiers on duty. A fierce exchange of fire ensued, leading to the containment of the terrorists within a limited area at the garrison’s boundary. So far, three heavily armed terrorists have been neutralized.
Security forces are currently conducting a clearance operation to apprehend the remaining two terrorists. The statement emphasized the determination of the security forces to counter such attempts aimed at destabilizing peace in Balochistan and Pakistan.
