LAHORE MIRROR – A report was filed against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan for threatening joint investigation team (JIT) officers during the Jinnah House attack investigation.

According to a private TV channel, the report was filed at the Qila Gujjar Singh police station, based on the complaint lodged by In-charge Investigation, Muhammad Sarwar.

The police report stated that Imran Khan was called in for questioning regarding the Sarwar Road police station case 96/23. During the investigation, the accused reportedly issued threats to the officers, insinuating potential retaliation if they continued their inquiry. Such actions were deemed as an attempt to obstruct a free and impartial investigation, and are in violation of the legal code.

In a separate legal matter, the Islamabad High Court has ruled against the requests made by PTI Chairman Imran Khan to transfer six cases to a different court. The High Court denied the immediate injunction in the Tosha Khana case and has scheduled all related cases for the following week.

These developments mark a significant turn of events for the PTI Chairman, as he faces the threatening charges in the ongoing investigation and must now continue to defend himself in the existing court cases. The situation is likely to garner significant attention in the days to come.
