FAISALABAD– Moving forward with modernizing approach, the Faisalabad police are getting it’s old fleet of transport repaired at fast pace.
All three categories troop carriers, prison vans and police station vehicles have been prioritized for refurbishment.
City Police Officer Captain (retired) Muhammad Sohail Ch says quality is being ensured in repairs with regular inspections and pictures for record.
The Faisalabad police have already refurbished several police vehicles that are in use by cops for multiple purposes, he adds.
According to DIG Sohail, the repair of old vehicles is helping Faisalabad police to adopt cost-cutting measures as new vehicles require heavy budget that is not possible in prevailing circumstances.
