Punjab: Khawaja Jalaluddin Presides Over 40th Meeting Of PSSHMC To Ensure Health Facilities to Laborers

LAHORE– The government has taken active steps for the welfare of the workers and laborers. The 40th meeting of the Board of Directors of the Punjab Social Security Health Management Company (PSSHMC) was held.
Prominent industrialist Khawaja Jalaluddin Rumi has taken over as the Chairman of the PSSHMC Board. Khawaja Jalaluddin Rumi presided over the meeting of the Board of Directors.
He was given a detailed briefing on the affairs of Social Security Health Management Company and also informed about the affairs of Social Security Hospitals in Muzaffargarh and Manga Mandi.
He provided the best medical facilities to the workers and laborers. Instructing to ensure that the health of workers and laborers is the first priority.
The families of the workers will also be provided with better medical facilities. The meeting discussed the 8-point agenda of the Social Security Health Management Company meeting and approved the proceedings of the last meeting of the Board of Directors.
The Board of Directors of PSSHMC approved the proceedings of the Audit Committee. Following the change in management, it was approved to hand over the financial responsibilities of PSSHMC head office and managed hospitals to different members. Amendments to various provisions of the Articles of Association of the PSSHMC were also approved.
The meeting reviewed various clauses of the agreements with Azra Naheed Medical College. The meeting was attended by Secretary Labor Ahmed Javed Qazi, Commissioner Punjab Social Security Institution Umbereen Sajid, Additional Secretary Finance Sidra Younis, Additional Secretary Industry Ejaz Khalid, General Manager Padmak Umar Saeed, Amir Fayyaz, Umair Work, Muhammad Anis Khawaja, Amir Sheikh, other members Relevant authorities attended.
