LAHORE– Punjab University Vice Chancellor Prof Niaz Ahmad has laid foundation stone of 12 flats for employees of Institute of Education and Research at New Campus.
On this occasion, Pro Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Saleem Mazhar, Institute of Education and Research Director Prof Dr Rifaqat Ali Akbar, Chief Engineer Faiz ul Hasan Sipra and a large number of employees were present on the occasion.
Addressing the ceremony, Prof Niaz Ahmad said that the administration had taken several steps for the welfare of teachers, employees and students. He said that around 85 percent employees of PU had been promoted.
He urged the employees that as the administration was solving their long-standing issues on merit, the employees should also work hard with honesty. He advised the employees to work as per rules and regulations and do not take any pressure and work as per rules and regulations.
IER Director Prof Dr Rifaqat Ali Akbar said that it was the issue of residence on campus was one of the most important issues of IER employees which had been solved now. He thanked PU VC Prof Niaz Ahmad for taking special interest in solving problems of the employees.–PRESS RELEASE
