PSDA Launches Online Registration Portal For Technical And Vocational Institutes

LAHORE– Punjab Skills Development Authority has launched an online registration portal for technical and vocational institutes. The inaugural function was presided over by Mian Aslam Iqbal, Provincial Minister for Industry and Commerce also attended.
Addressing the function, Provincial Minister Mian Aslam Iqbal said that Punjab Skills Development Authority has made the process of registration of technical education institutions easier by creating a portal. The government is bringing technical education institutions under the umbrella of the Punjab Skills Development Authority. This body will monitor public and private institutions and the standard of monitoring will be the same for public and private technical education institutions.
The provincial minister said that skilled manpower was essential for rapid economic growth and the provincial government was focusing on providing skilled manpower as per the local needs. In this regard, Toyota’s courses have been adapted to modern requirements and requirements, which will further enhance Toyota’s performance.
The provincial minister said that Rs 1.5 billion was being spent this year to make the youth useful. Similarly, the government of Pakistan is striving to achieve the target of 10 million jobs as per the PTI manifesto. Mian Aslam Iqbal said that development works in Special Economic Zones are being completed expeditiously and priority is being given to the IT sector in industrial estates.
Meanwhile, the government has simplified the business registration process and consolidated taxes. He further said that a new program is being brought to provide employment opportunities to the youth and every coming day will bring happiness to the people. DG Punjab Skills Development Authority Saleha Saeed briefed about the process of online registration of technical education institutes and future plans.
