LAHORE– On the directions of the Commissioner (Enforcement) Punjab Revenue Authority, an orientation workshop on withholding tax was conducted by Enforcement Officers Ali Raza Hashmi and Akmal Waraich who briefed the participants in detail.
Representatives from different companies including Lahore Gymkhana, Defence Club, MGM Securities Karachi, Defence Raya Club, Corp Link Pvt Ltd, Zafar Securities, Rsm Avais Haider, Najeeb Consultant Pvt Ltd, Al Haq Securities, MND Investment, Gulrez Securities, Vivo Pakistan and other sector related taxpayers attended the workshop.
The respective provisions of the Punjab Sales Tax on Services (Withholding) Rules 2015 were discussed at length including its applicability, responsibility and procedure etc.
