PPP Demands General Elections Within 90 Days

LAHORE MIRROR – The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) announced on Friday to conduct the general elections in the country within 90 days as per the Constitution. 

It was decided in a Central Executive Committee Meeting held at Bilal House in Karachi here on Friday. It was presided over by Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

The Central Executive Committee meeting of the Pakistan People’s Party extensively discussed the prevailing political and economic landscape of the country.

The meeting also delved into the recent flood calamities in Punjab and expressed condolences over the resulting damages.

Prominent figures participating in the meeting included Syed Yusuf Raza Geelani, Raja Pervez Ashraf, Nair Bukhari, Farhatullah Babar, Sherry Rehman, Shazia Murri, and Faisal Karim Kundi.

Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Makhdoom Ahmad Mehmood, Nisar Ahmad Khoro, Chingiz Khan Jamali, Amjad Advocate, Latif Akbar, and Aslam Gul were present during the meeting.

Raza Rabbani, Syed Khurshid Shah, Qamar Zaman Kaira, Aitzaz Ahsan, Muhammad Ali Shah Bacha, Chaudhry Manzoor, Murad Ali Shah, Sardar Yakub, Taj Haider, Chaudhry Yasin, Humayun Khan, and Maula Bakhsh Chandio, Jamil Soomro, Hari Ram, Salim Mandviwala, Makhdoom Jamil-ul-Zaman, Mirbaz Khetran, Hasan Murtaza, Manzoor Wasan, Ejaz Jakhrani, Rozi Khan Kakar, Sabir Baloch, Nawab Yusuf Talpur, and Rukhsana Zuberi, Samina Khalid Gharki, Saeed Ghani, Qadir Patel, Naveed Qamar, Sadiq Imrani, Ghulam Farid Kathia, Abdul Latif Ansari, Jam Mehtab Dahar, Sharjeel Memon, Nasir Shah, Ali Madad Jatak, and others participated actively in the proceedings.
